Graduate Student Series

Hey! Thanks for stumbling upon this page.

You can’t have enough resources when trying to choose graduate schools and figuring out what to do with your life so we’re here to help.

We have seven interviews from food science graduate students of all different backgrounds who each tell their story on why they chose graduate school, what they are studying and concrete and actionable steps to research and apply to graduate school.

Whether you’re in your final year in undergrad, or want a change in your current career, this is a great resource to just figure out if this next big step in your life is worth it.

We answer questions like how to email professors, different ways of getting funding and the difference between graduate school and in Europe, and why you need to be involved in things like IFTSA.

Starting the first week of January, we will showcase two episodes a week that feature such questions like why they chose this university, if they worked before going into graduate school, their favorite food and the best and worst parts of being in graduate school.

Below are the list of episodes that is contained in this series. We will be updating this page once a week to showcase our wonderful guests who have taken their time to be interviewed.
